Curriculum Coordinator: Prof. Ernesto Fedele
The International Curriculum of Pharmacology and Toxicology stems from the agreement between the Section of Pharmacology and Toxicology of the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Genoa and the School for Mental Health and Neuroscience of the University of Maastricht, and provides a double PhD degree recognised in both countries.
In addition to what is reported for the Curriculum of Pharmacology and Toxicology, the International Curriculum gives PhD students the opportunity to carry out an internship of at least 6 months at the University of Maastricht where they can also acquire specific experience in the field of Neuropsychopharmacology, a branch of neuropharmacology that studies the effects of drugs on human behavior.
